Always inform your pharmacist of any allergies, medical conditions, or medications before receiving the Shingles (Shingrix) vaccine.
Two doses: the second dose is given 2 to 6 months after the first. Both doses are needed for full protection.
Vaccine consent forms and Vaccine Information Statements (VIS) are provided before vaccination at participating pharmacy locations.
Shingrix is covered by most commercial insurance plans and Medicare Part D. Two doses are required, and coverage typically applies to both. Coverage can be verified at the time of your visit. Availability and coverage support may vary by location.
